R422 - MARKET RESEARCH AND PUBLIC OPINION SERVICES - U.S. Dept. of Commerce, ITA intends to procure services on a sole source basis from Statistis Canada , 6th floor, R.H. Coasts Building, 120 Parkdale Avenue, Ottawa, Canada K1A0T6. The contractor will provide Office of Travel and Tourism Industries with the monthly volume of Canadians visiting the United States (US). (By mode and length of stay) and quarterly and annual trip characteristics (expenditures, nights, purpose, province or origin and state visited) of Canadian visitors who stay in US for one more nights. US tourists entering Canada by transportation mode (automobiles and trucks, commercial and private airplane, train, bus, commercial and private boat, pedestrians, and others); Non-US residents travelers entering Canada either directly or via the United States, by air, land, and sea. Canadian tourists entering countries other than the United States directly or via the United States by air, sea and land. International travelers between Canada and other countries by mode of transportation. Non-Canadian residents entering Canada by province of entry by mode of transportation. International travelers by country of residence, not including US residents, entering Canada. Canadian residents entering Canada by Province and mode of Transportation. Activities engaged in by Canadians. Purpose of trip by state; Canadian expenditures in the US by state; type of accommodation such as hotel, cabin, camping, friend/relative, etc., Canadian arrivals by gender and age. Request for Quotation (RFQ) must be submitted in writing no later than 15 calendar days after the date of this notice. There is no solicitation package available. Award will be made using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Reference 2-90276(GJH)!!
