D317- AUTOMATED NEWS SERVICES, DATA SERVICES, OR OTHER INFORMATION SERVICES - U.S. Dept. of Commerce/International Trade Administration (ITA), intends to procure on a sole source basis the following subscriptions from the Global Trade Information Services, Inc., 2218 Devine Street, Columbia, South Carolina, subscription service on Global Trade Atlas annual (internet access through 12/03) includes UN database. (1 ea.) Australia World Trade Atlas, annual; ( 1 ea.) Indonesia World Trade Atlas, annual; (1 ea.) Malaysia World Trade Atlas, annual; (1 ea.) New Zealand World Trade Atlas annual; (1 ea.) Philippines World Trade Atlas, annual; (1 ea.) All countries of EU, World Trade Atlas annual (incl. All 15 individual country editions); (1 ea.) Poland World Trade Atlas, annual; (1 ea.) Turkey World Trade Atlas annual; (1 ea.) Iceland World Trade Atlas annual; (1 ea.) Norway World Trade Atlas, annual; (1 ea.) Switzerland World Trade Atlas annual; (1 ea.) Argentina World Trade Atlas, annual; (1 ea.) Colombia World Trade Atlas, annual; (1 ea.) Peru World Trade Atlas, annual. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
