Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is EOUSA-FMSS-2-0005. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-07. The U.S. Attorneys Office in the Eastern District of Louisiana has a requirement for one-hundred (100) reserved indoor parking spaces in a well-lighted and secure facility, within a two block radius of the U.S. Attorney Office, at 601 Tchoupitoulas Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, for use by the U.S. Attorney Office Employee Vehicles (USAOEV). The spaces will require 24 hours access, 24 hours security and self parking, seven(7)days per week, including Saturday, Sunday and legal holidays, with in and out privileges. During Mardi Gras and the weekend prior to Mardi Gras reserved parking spaces will be valid with access card. The USAO Employees will not be required to leave their keys with a parking attendant. It is also required, that all of the reserved parking spaces be located near an elevator that stops on every level of the facility for exit and entry. The contract terms will be July 1, 2002 through June 30, 2003 with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The exercise of the option periods will be at the Government's discretion. Evaluation factors are: Past performance and best value. The provisions at 52.212-1, "Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Item" are applicable, 52.212-3 "Offeror Representations and Certifications -Commercial Items" clause 52.212-4 "Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items", the clause 52.212-5 "Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, offers or quotations will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2 "Evaluation of quotations or offers" applies to this acquisition. Quotes are due June 18, 2002 @ 2:00 P.M. LATE Proposals will not be accepted. Quotes shall be sent via courier, hand delivered or faxed to The Department of Justice, Executive Office for the U.S. Attorneys, 600 E Street, NW, Suite 2400, Facilities and Support Services, Washington, DC 20530, Attn: LaTonya Garrett.
