Description
The Offeror shall furnish the necessary qualified personnel, facilities, materials, supplies, equipment, and services to provide timely reviews of technology relating to NHTSA's Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. The objective of this requirement is to obtain information on (1) technologies being used in current production vehicles, (2) technologies in the later stages of development that may be ready for use in production in the near-term (0-5 years) and (3) technologies showing promise for the longer term (+5 years). Engineering judgment may be required. NAICS Code for this contract is 541330. An Indefinite Quantity Time and Material type of contract is planned for a base period of one year with four option years. Electronic copies of the RFP and any other documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site or URL for the FedBizOpps page is www.fedbizoOpps.gov or the GSA Electronic Posting Service (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov. It is the Offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet sites for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential Offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Requests for paper copies of the RFP will not be accepted. Estimated date for release of solicitation is on or about July 17, 2002.
