- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. IMPORTANT NOTICE: FAR 52.232-33 (Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer -- Central Contractor Registration - May 1999) and DFARS 252.204-7004 (Required Central Contractor Registration - Nov 2001) require registration in the CCR database. AWARD CANNOT BE MADE UNLESS CCR REGISTERED. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. F08650-02-T-0168 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect thru Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07 and thru Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement DCN 20020531. This procurement is set aside for all responsible small business sources. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) of 3599, business size of 750 employees, and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336399. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) using other than full and open competition. Requirement is for Crankcase Ventilation Filter Systems for 183 emergency generators at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Require one each crankcase ventilation filter system, hose kit, and hose barb in sizes to fit: 163 small size generators, 6 medium size generators, and 14 large size generators as follows: Quantity of 7 EA - Crankcase Ventilation Filter (Left) - Racor Part Number CCV8000-08L or equal, Quantity of 7 EA -Crankcase Ventilation Filter (Right) - Racor Part Number CCV8000-08R or equal, Quantity of 14 EA - Fitting and Hose Kit - Racor Part Number CCV55067 or equal, Quantity of 14 EA - 1.5 inch Hose Barb - Racor Part Number CCV55115 or equal (for large generators - 20-40 CFM); Quantity of 3 EA - Crankcase Ventilation Filter (Left) - Racor Part Number CCV6000-08L or equal, Quantity of 3 EA -Crankcase Ventilation Filter (Right) - Racor Part Number CCV6000-08R or equal, Quantity of 6 EA - Fitting and Hose Kit - Racor Part Number CCV55046 or equal, Quantity of 6 EA - 1.25 inch Hose Barb - Racor Part Number CCV55114 or equal (for medium generators - 10-20 CFM); Quantity of 81 EA - Crankcase Ventilation Filter (Left) - Racor Part Number CCV4500-08L or equal, Quantity of 82 EA -Crankcase Ventilation Filter (Right) - Racor Part Number CCV4500-08R or equal, Quantity of 163 EA - Fitting and Hose Kit - Racor Part Number CCV55024 or equal, Quantity of 163 EA - 1 inch Hose Barb - Racor Part Number CCV55113 or equal (for small generators - 0-10 CFM), (Crankcase Oil Vapor Flow Rate, CFM = cubic feet per minute). The Crankcase Ventilation Filter Systems must meet the 5 following criterias: (1) Closed-loop System, (2) Replaceable coalescing filter element, (3) Built-in element change monitoring system or gage, (4) Compatible with and able to be connected to the existing air filtration system, (5) Must meet a removal efficiency rating of 80%- 100% of aerosol particulates. These products are to be delivered to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS), Patrick AFB, FL.
