- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ), Solicitation number F05611-02-T-0052, in accordance with FAR parts 12 & 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-07. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. CLIN 0001: PR-176, Reserve Parachutes, Lite Blue; Quantity: 18 Each, Unit Price $________, Total Amount $________. CLIN 0002: PR-160, Reserve Parachutes, Lite Blue, Quantity: 1 Each, Unit Price $________, Total Amount $_______. CLIN 0003: PR-143, Reserve Parachutes, Lite Blue; Quantity: 1 Each, Unit Price $_______, Total Amount $________. CLIN 0004: PR-235, Reserve Parachutes, Lite Blue; Quantity: 12 Each, Unit Price $________, Total Amount $_________. IAW FAR 6.302-1(c), this is a Brand Name Only Acquisition for Performance Designs parachutes, manufactured by Performance Designs Inc., Deland, Florida. FOB for this RFQ is Destination. The following FAR clauses apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items; The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive, responsible offeror with the lowest price offer; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; 53.232-33, Mandatory Information for Electronic funds Transfer Payment; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes for Executive Orders--Commercial Items.
