- Description
- The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC will be issuing a solicitation for a proposed contract effort for process technology to manufacture 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm combustible Mortar Increment Containers (MICs). MIC processing areas to be developed and proven-out consist of: automated vision inspection, rapid/ dynamic compositional analysis, automated increment bonding, automated process for the application of waterproofing agents and injection/blow molding using an energetic thermoplastic elastomer (ETPE) composition. The contract will consist of a basic quantity, plus one option. The options will consist of producing additional quantities on a semi-production and production scale.
