Description

NA The work consists of channel excavation, backfill, storm drains, articulating concrete mats, metal and PVC sheet piling, subdrainage system, storm drains, roads, fencing, landscaping, hike and bike trail bridge, and painting. The cost range for this proje ct is between $25 million and $100 million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 234990. The Small Business Size Standard is $28.5 million and will be advertised UNRESTRICTED. The Galveston Distr ict's Subcontracting goals are: Small Business - 61.4%; Small Disadvantaged Business - 9.1%; Woman-Owned Small Business - 5.0%; Veteran-Owned Small Business - 3.0%; Hubzone Small Business - 3.0%; Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business - 3.0%. Bid Opening will be held in Room 175. The plans and specifications will be provided on compact disc (CD-ROM) on the issue date. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is the contractor's responsibility to register to receive a CD-ROM at the following address, and to check daily for any posted changes to this solicitation: http://www.swg.usace.army.mil/c t.
