- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Window Coverings accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation # N62604-02-Q-2074 is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-05 and DCN 2002 0314. This acquisition is Set Aside for Small Business. The NAICS code is 337920; small business size standard is 500. There are 0004 contract line items to be delivered and installed at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi. CLIN 0001 ? (29) EA. 1? Magnesium Aluminum Alloy Slate, mini blind, horizontal blind, .0085? thickness, .008 gauge weight with privacy feature and ladder hole in back side of slate. KEY FEATURES: Dustguard; headrail: 1? H x 1-9/16? W x .025? thick tomized steel. Guardian tilter disengaging clutch mechanism; 15.7 slats per ft. Color: brushed aluminum. Sample available at site visit. Levolor Riviera Dustguard or equal. CLIN 0002 ? (52) EA. Vertical Blind, vinyl, smooth surface, headrail and bottom rail shall be extruded aluminum alloy, 1-3/16? W x 1=5/16? H for lift out and 1-13/16? W x 1-5/16? H for recessed with capped ends, provided with Delrin sprocket wheels. Vanes rotate 360 degrees, 3 ?? W vanes and vanes shall be overlap not less than 3/8? when rotated. Provide install brackets. Color to be determined, sample available at site visit. Levolor Louverdrape MRRS or equal. CLIN 0003 ? (5) EA. Wood Blind, 2? Classics, rectangular slat, with standard low profile Headrail. Color: 170 Mahogany. Prestige Designer Wood, Wood Collections, with headmaster headrail or equal. Matching decorative wood valance and bottom rail. CLIN 0004 ? (6) EA. Vertical Blind, Vinyl, textured, headrail and bottom rail shall be of anodized extruded aluminum alloy, 1-3/16? W x 1-5/16? H for lift out and 1-13/16? W x 1-5/16? H for recessed capped end, provided with Delrin sprocket wheels. Vanes to rotate 360 degrees; 3-1/2? W vanes, and vanes shall be overlapped no less than 3/8? when rotated. Provide installation. Color to be determined (sample available at site visit). Levolor Louverdrape MRRS or equal. CLIN 0005 ? (6) EA. Panels, drapes with valances. Drapery grade fabric or better with Black Outlining. Panel lining ROC-LON or equal. Valance, Fire Retardant, Commercial Grade, Box Pleated style, Tent Flap mounted. Two types of fabric per each valance; 1 printed 1 solid. Valances will be made with open pleats according to unit size, and stationary drapery panels. Panels and inserts on valance are solid fabric and valance fabric is printed. These custom drapes and valances are to be installed. Drawing and fabric samples available at site visit. ALL ITEMS TO BE INSTALLED AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS AT STENNIS SPACE CENTER, MS. A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 27, 2002 AT 10:00 AM AND THOSE IN ATTENDANCE SHALL MEET AT THE STENNIS SPACE CENTER WELCOME CENTER. ALL THOSE INTERESTED IN BIDDING THIS SOLICITATION MUST ATTEND SITE VISIT AND NOTIFY THIS OFFICE, MS. BONNIE ADAMS, 228-871-2868 BY JUNE 26, 2002 AT 12:00 NOON. CONTRACTORS NOT IN ATTENDANCE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BID ON SAID CONTRACT. UPON COMPLETION OF SITE VISIT ALL QUOTATIIONS ARE DUE IN THIS OFFICE BY JULY 2, 2002, NO LATER THAN 2:00 PM. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Feb 2002) is hereby incorporated by reference. FAR Clause 52.212-5 (Dec 2001), Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items are hereby incorporated by reference. The following paragraphs apply to this solicitation and any resultant contract (b)(5) 52.219-8, (b)(12) 52.222-26, (b)(13) 52.222-35, (b)(14) 52.222-36, (b)(15) 52.222-37, (b)( 24) 52.232-33, and (b)(28)(I) 52.247-64. DFARS Clause 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, is hereby incorporated by reference, with additional DFAR clauses included in this solicitation and any resultant contract, as follows: (b)(5) 252.225-7001, (b)(15) 252.225-7036. Additional Contract Terms and Conditions applicable to this procurement is Type of contract: A firm fixed-price contract will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Award will be made to the offeror that meets the solicitation criteria, delivery, and lowest price. The Government reserves the right to make award on the initial offer received without discussions. The Government reserves the right to eliminate from further consideration those proposals which are considered non-responsive. Companies wishing to respond to this solicitation should provide this office with the following: A price quote, submitted on your company letterhead or your standard company quotation forms, for the requested items showing solicitation number, unit price, extended price, FOB, prompt payment terms, delivery time, and correct address. OFFERS MUST BE SIGNED. Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ?Commercial Items, as well as DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications ?Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.225-7036, Buy American Act-North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act-Balance of Payments Program Certificate with their offers. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR).
