- Description
- The General Services Administration's Public Buildings Service (GSA/PBS) intends to issue a contract to the CoStar Group under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy requirements. This procurement is to obtain a subscription to CoStar products that are web based and desktop databases that provide information on individual properties and specific major real estate markets on a national basis throughout the entire country. Market specific data provided includes inventories of space availability, new construction, changing trends in vacancy rates, and absorption and growth rates. Building specific information provided includes building characteristics and maintenance history, leasing history, and listings of specific building rentals and sales. Confirmed transactions, including sales prices, financing data, cap rates, and buyer and seller contact information are also tracked and continually updated. Graphic products provided consist of high-resolution digital images, including maps, floor plans, 360-degree visuals, interior and exterior photographs, and aerial photographs. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider all proposals received by close of business Friday, June 21, 2002. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted by FAX at 202-501-3257 or by email.
