Description

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management intends to issue Solicitation No. OPM-RFP-02-0026 for full-service marketing and promotional communications support services in support of its Office of Executive and Management Development (OEMD). OEMD is seeking a contractor to operate and maintain its current marketing communication program. The contractor shall provide the following services: (1) development and dissemination of all information about OEMD seminars, services, and schedules on a real time basis via the internet and intranet, print, and other appropriate media; (2) one-on-one communication with selected customer groups to generate interest in OEMD seminars, services, and schedules. This will be done primarily via email but also includes print, video, conferences, and other appropriate media; (3) receiving, processing, and tracking requests for information and services via call center and email; (4) initiating and tracking OEMD responses to service requests from pre-registration through confirmation and participation, which will be accomplished primarily through web-enabled databases; (5) building customer profile information that enables ongoing customer interaction. Included in the contract will be four one-year option periods to extend services. This acquisition has been set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System number is 541613, Marketing Consulting Services, and the definition of a small business for this acquisition is a firm that has had $6 million or less in average annual receipts over the company's prior three fiscal years. OPM will award a firm, fixed-price contract for this acquisition and anticipates releasing the solicitation on/about July 1, 2002. Proposals will be due approximately thirty (30) days after that date. The solicitation may be downloaded from the FedBizOpps website (www.fedbizopps.gov). No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. It is recommended that interested parties regularly monitor the FedBizOpps website and notify Andre Adams via email or fax to request that they be placed on the source list in case solicitation amendments or other communications are issued. All future communications with interested parties on the source list shall be made via email, so interested parties must include their email addresses when requesting to be placed on the source list.
