- Description
- This project is for precommercial thinning, of approximately 159 acres of 19 to 23 year old conifer reproduction. All items of this contract will be part of a Young-Growth Adaptive Management study. Contract time will be 91 calendar days. The work areas are located on the Tongass National Forest, Thorne Bay Ranger District, Prince of Wales Island, Southeast Alaska. This requirement is totally set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 115310 and the small business size standard is average annual income of $6 million over the past three years. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps for viewing and printing on or about May 1, 2002. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation via the Internet if at all possible.
