- The Flathead National Forest will be advertising a Request for Quotations consisting of two bid items totalling approximately 116 acres of slashing/pruning and 78 acres of hand piling on the Tally Lake Ranger District, Flathead County, Montana. Issue date, April 15, 2002. Pre-bid Tour is scheduled for May 13, 2002. The Notice to Proceed will be issued approximately June 3, 2002, with an estimated completion date of July 15, 2002 (Item No. 1) and September 1, 2002 (Item No. 2). NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (10-APR-2002). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 12-JUN-2002.
