Description

Re-roofing comfort stations on the Diamond Lake Ranger District of the Umpqua National Forest: Work includes removal and disposal of existing built up gravel roof systems, including gravel, removal of rigid foam insulation, tar, vapor barrier, gutters and metal flashing on eaves, removal of existing skylights while maintaining existing openings for new skylights, remove and replace existing deteriorated eave material, add vents where necessary according to building code: Install new truss system, re-roof with sheathing and 26 gage concealed metal fastener roof system including all pertinent flashing/ridgecap, Install new light wells and skylights: The project shall be completed for use by September 30, 2003: This is a Request for Proposals: In addition to price proposals offerors are required to complete a questionnaire; Technical response elements include general technical capability, key project management personnel qualifications, project management and work scheduling, public safety and security and past performance history; Award evaluation criteria include utilization of labor force from Douglas County, Oregon, technical capability, management and scheduling approach, and past performance history in addition to price; award may be made without discussions. This project includes four option items for additional related work; the project magnitude is in the range between $100,000 and $250,000; NAICS 233320; Hard copies of the solicitation package,including drawings are not available.
