Description
Provide materials and services necessary to Renovate Breakwater/Groin at the USCG Activity New York Detachment, Sandy Hook, New Jersey. The project includes but is not limited to removal and disposal of wood decking, timber piles, sheet piles, utilities and dredged materials. New decking, steel piles and sheet piles will be provided. New Utilities such as lighting, power, telephone and potable water are included. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with Specification No. 01-L00008 and Drawing No. 01-L00008 (Sheets 1 - 19). On-site work will start no earlier than February 3, 2003. The Government intends to use the time from contract award to the start of on-site work to review all submittals. All work shall be completed within 270 calendar days after Award. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR THE HISTORICALLY UNDERUTILIZED BUSINESS ZONE (HUBZONE) SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. (Status as a qualified HUBZone small business concern is determined by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and SBA will issue a certification to that affect in accordance with 13 CFR part 126) Offers that are not from qualified HUBZone small business concerns shall not be considered and shall be rejected.
