- Description
- This is a combined synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, and 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; the proposal and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-07 and is issued as Request for Quotation #RFQ 549-122-02. The NAICS code is 334310 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. Award will be made based on price, delivery, salient characteristics, and technical capabilities. The required delivery date is 11/18/02, FOB Destination (Military Sealift Command, SMS PM22, Bldg 238, Camp Pendleton, Virginia Beach, VA 23458-7480). This requirement is for the purchase and installation of Kongsberg Simrad, Ltd Brand Name or ?equal? CCTV Equipment. Offerors providing ?equal? products must clearly identify the Brand Name, Make/Model No, include descriptive literature, and compare their components to the ?salient characteristics? of the components contained in the SOW. The comparison must include, in detail, sensitivity, operating ranges, environmental constraints, & material and power of each ?equal? item offered.
