Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a cost plus fixed fee order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Number N00019-00-G-0425 for the performance of engineering and technical support services for the E-2C Mission Computer (MC) and Next Generation E-2C Mission Simulator (NGEMS). NAVAIR intends to negotiate this order on a sole source basis with Northrup Grumman Corporation, South Oyster Bay Road, Bethpage, New York 11714. NGC is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer and systems integrator of the E-2C aircraft and weapon system and as such is the only firm with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary to provide the required supplies and services in a timely manner for the purposes of meeting the fleet's operational needs.
