- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville, Florida is seeking to identify potential sources and their capabilities for providing administrative support services for Naval Weapons Station Charleston located at Goose Creek, South Carolina. Services include: office management support, office support, personnel support, security admin support, processing correspondence, and office automation. FISC Jacksonville intends to solicit proposals for an OMB Circular A-76 Cost Comparison Study. The purpose of this study is to determine the most efficient and cost effective method of providing administrative and security support services for Naval Weapons Station Charleston. In accordance with OMB Circular A-76, the offer determined to represent the best value to the Government will be compared to the Government's proposal to perform the above services. Commercial proposals will not result in a contract if Government performance is determined to be more advantageous. The projected date for issuance of the solicitation is August 2002. Interested sources are requested to submit a statement demonstrating their capability to perform the services listed above. Responses are limited to two pages and should include a description of the company and its experience relative to the performance of this or similar services. Responses must also identify the business size and whether the business is designated as a small business, small disadvantaged business, women owned business, and/or a HUBZONE business. The responses should also include the company's address, phone and fax numbers, point of contact and the point of contact's e-mail address. This announcement is same as the announcement posted December 10, 2001 under reference number CA07. If you already submitted information in reference to CA07 you DO NOT have to submit information again. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561110, which has a corresponding small business size standard of $5.0 million. Sources interested in subcontracting opportunities are also requested to submit the information requested above. Responses are to be submitted by July 15, 2002.
