Description
This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 This requirement is 100% small business set-aside, however if a small business cannot provide the items listed then a large business will be considered. Responses will be accepted only from qualified small businesses under the North American Industry Classification System NAICS code 333314, the applicable small business size standard is 500. The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms has a requirement for the following items: The Raguku Miniflex Portable X-ray Diffraction System is a portable version technique for identifying organic and inorganic compounds such as explosives, oxidizers, drugs and a variety of other compounds. Provides analysis of bombing evidence while on site with the mobile laboratory. 1 each #2005C106 Mini Flex, 1 each #2005+WS/W Control and Measurement Software, 1 each ATP-NF-CUL Xray tube: 1.8k W, Cu, Normal Focus, 1 each MDI-WJ6-SL, Jade 6.0. with Profile Fittine-Seat License, 1 each MDI-SM6-SL- Search/Match for Jade 6.0 (requires ICDD database or User database Seat License, 1 each C248PN, ICDD PDF-2 Database on CDROM, Release 2000, 1 each, Comp-notebook, Dell Laptop Instrument controller, 1 each MCS-50, 1.3. kW Air-Cooled heat Exchanger, 1 each, #2455E431, Six position Sample Changer with Sample Spinner (ASC-6), 6 each SH-LBS1511RDNA-Sample Holder, 1 each, Train-PPMINIFLX, 1 EACH, UPGRADE-1, 2 each, Case-Mini/Chill-Shipping Case for the Miniflex and Heat Exchanger. This award will be made utilizing the Simplified Acquisitions procedures under FAR subpart 13.5. Offer shall include descriptive literature containing sufficient literature to the extent necessary to allow the government to determine the technical acceptability of specifications. Award will be based on meeting the technical specifications listed above on an all or none basis and the best value to the government. The government may elect to pay a cost premium to select and offer whose ratings on non-cost evaluation factors e.g. technical quality and past performance are superior. A ?premium? is defined as the cost difference between the lower evaluated cost of a technically acceptable offer and a higher price offer deemed to be superior from a technical quality and or past performance stand point. ANY AND ALL INQUIRES ARE TO BE SUBMITTED BY FAX. No solicitation will be issued. Offers shall be submitted to the Bureau of Alcohol Tobbacco and Firearms, 650 Massachusetts Avenue N.W.
