Description: The USDA, Agricultural Research Service intends to enter into a single-source contract with IMV International Corporation, Maple Grove, Minnesota. This contract is to procure a Cryo Bio System consisting of two products: 1. MAPI Strawfiller and Labeler and 2. CBS High Security Straw, as well as consumable supplies for initial operation. Both the process and equipment are covered under several patents. This system shall be operated in cryogenic temperatures for extended periods of time. The ionomeric resin straw is designed so that it wont shatter after sealing under these conditions.
