Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) has a requirement for all labor and materials to install 8 ladder climbing safety devices and appurtenances on the Radio Station WWVB Towers, 2000 County Road 58, Fort Collins, Colorado. The Radio Station will take only 1 antenna array (4 towers) out of service at any one time to accommodate installation of devices. Included in the work is activity to replace top beacon light on 7 towers. The specifications and drawings will be made available separately from this notice. You may request them by mail, email, or fax. You may submit your proposal by fax or by mail. Proposal must be received on or before close of business July 12, 2002. Anticipated project completion date is no later than 4 weeks after materials are received following the "Notice to Proceed". This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13 (NTE $100,000.00) and is set-aside for small business. Proposals must include delivery date, business size, Federal Taxpayer Identification Number, and Duns and Bradstreet Number.
