Description

Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to install an air condition unit in Building 8641, Site C-6, Eglin AFB FL. The acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code for this requirement is 235110. All responsible sources may submit a written offer that shall be considered by the agency. This project includes, but not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and performing all operations in connection with installing an air condition unit in Building 8641, Site C-6, Eglin AFB FL. In general, the work will consist of providing a complete new functional system including ductwork, insulation grilles, electrical, and miscellaneous work as required for functional system. Performance period is ninety (90) calendar days. Estimated dollar range is between $25,000 - $100,000. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be available on the Federal Government Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov) on or about 10 JULY 2002. The ESTIMATED PROPOSAL DUE DATE is 09 AUGUST 2002. No response to this notice is necessary and no Source List will be maintained. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor?s Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS Number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under this contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing date, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government. See Note 26.
