Description
NA Custodial Statement of Work. Government reserves the right to add or subtract buildings or rooms. Contract will consist of 1 Aug 2002 thru 30 Sep 2002 as the base year and three option years. 1 Oct 2002 thru 30 Sep 2003, 1 Oct 2003 thru 30 Sep 2004, 1 Oct 2002 thru 30 Sep 2005. Administration buildings 8-64 and 8-65, custodial services. Offices and Workstations Remove office chairs, office chair protector mats, vacuum carpet, dust office furniture and return above items to offices and cubicles Tuesdays and Fridays. Vacuum all common area carpets daily. Spot clean carpets weekly. Spot clean all glass for fingerprints and marks daily. Spot clean all office doors for fingerprints and marks daily. Spot clean baseboards once a week. Dust all baseboards and top of cubicle walls one time weekly. Dust all cubicle work surfaces on time weekly. Collect and remove all trash, replace liners and place trash in outside dumpster daily. Sweep and wet mop all vinyl floors daily. Spot wax and buff vinyl floors weekly. Restrooms Daily Collect and remove all trash replace liners and place in outside dumpster daily. Clean mirrors daily. Clean stains and disinfect commodes and urinals daily. Clean sink basins and counter areas daily. Polish all sink fixtures and towel holders daily. Replenish all paper and soap products daily. Disinfect and wipe down all walls and partitions daily. Sweep disinfect and mop floors daily. Annually Strip and refinish tile floors. Shampoo all carpets. The above must be arranged with the facility manager to coordinate this service for after normal working hours. Request this to be completed during the month of August and September of a calendar year. Dormitories and day room maid service. Buildings 8-66, 8-67, 8-68, 8-69 and 8-70. Dorm rooms. Make beds in utilized rooms daily. If soiled sheets are found during making beds daily, replace with clean sheets. Change linen weekly, or at end of scheduled stay for classes and remake beds. Collect and remove all trash, replace liners and place trash in outside dumpster. Vacuum room carpet. Dust furniture, windowsills, baseboards, remove cobwebs and dust balls. Collect soiled linen and towels to central location in hamper for pickup by linen cleaning service. Replace towels and face cloths. Replenish hand soap and paper products as needed from centrally located supplies. Clean stains, disinfect and deodorize shower walls and floors. Clean stains, disinfect and deodorize commodes. Clean stains, basins, polish all sink fixtures and towel holders. Clean stains, disinfect bathroom floors, wep mop and dry mop. Spot clean door mirrors. Spot clean window glass inside. Spot clean carpeted areas as needed. Dormitory day rooms,common areas Sweep, camp mop stair steps and landings. Collect and remove all trash, replace liners and place trash in outside dumpster. Clean glass windows inside. Vacuum all carpet in dayrooms and common areas. Check for and remove cobwebs and dustballs. Dust all furniture items. Vacuum cloth furniture weekly. Dust or wet wipe appliances to include fire extinguisher weekly. Spot clean carpeted areas as needed. Empty smokers outposts Monthly. Clean outside entrance areas of leaves. Linen Procedures. Account for laundry items to include, but not limited to, receive, store and utilize as necessary. Prepare appropriate documentation by 11 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for pickup by laundry cleaning service. Provide copy of laundry cleaning service documents to receptionist in Building 8-65 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Daily dormitory room custodial service of buildings 8-72 and 8-73. Room utilization of the above buildings will be at the discretion of Northeast Counterdrug Training Center. Make beds. Strip beds at end of scheduled stay. Count and collect soiled bed linen and deposit into buildings 8-72 and 8-73 laundry bins. Provide number of soiled linen to re ceptionist at building 8-65. Dust mop tile floors. Collect and remove trash, replace liners and place trash into 8-72 and 8-73 dumpsters. Install and replace towels during stay. Collect all soiled towels and deposit into NCTC soiled linen bins. Clean sinks, commodes, mirrors and showers. Notify receptionist if any maintenance is needed in administration and dorm building to include but not limited to leaking fixtures, electrical lighting, broken glass, door locks, etc. This proposal mandates that all cleaning personnel must meet background checks equivalent to military NAC. See numbered note 1. All bidders must send a request in writing to receive a copy of this solicitation package.
