Description
NA CONTACT Salvatore Panetta, Electronics Engineer, (732) 532-9152. L1/L2 GPS Antenna, NSN 5985-01-422-4719, Mfr. Trimble Navigation Ltd. Part Nr. 22433-40. This is a market survey being conducted by the Communications Electronics Command to determine if add itional sources exist for the subject antenna. At this time, a proposal is not required, therefore your response will not be considered an offer. This request for information does not commit the Government to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of any submission to this market survey or to contract for services. The Army intends to procure a minimum quantity of 150 each and a maximum quantity of 2200 each GPS Antennas from Mfr. Trimble Navigation Ltd. Part Nr. 22433-40 via a planned five (5) year I ndefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Firm Fixed Price contract. The antenna must fit in the existing host platform (M1A2 Abrams tank and OH-58A/C, UH-60, and UH-1 helicopters) hole pattern with no host platform modification. Delivery shall comm ence within 120 days from the effective date of an ensuing contract. Delivery rate shall be 50 units per month. Accelerated delivery is acceptable. F.O.B. Origin terms apply with inspection and acceptance at Origin. The current GPS Antenna, Trimble P/N 22 433-40, meets the performance, physical and environmental requirements of the host platforms. Therefore, the impending acquisition will be issued on a sole-source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii) for the Trimble Navigation Limited (CAGE Cod e 65457) L1/L2 GPS Antenna. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these parts ARE NOT AVAILABLE from the Army. Suppliers capable of providing this antenna must so indicate in writing to: Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-COM-T-MO (Panetta), Building 1202W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023 or via email to salvatore.panetta@mail1.monmouth.army.mil. The response MUST include documentation such as test results, copies of any purchase orders if the supplier was a vendor to the listed sour ce or a statement from the listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with an antenna that will be form, fit and functionally interchangeable with the antenna provided by the current supplier. Successful suppliers will be required to warrant that the antennas supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army and be delivered on time.
