- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) has an ongoing contract for maintenance support for legacy systems consisting of Concurrent Computer Corporation hardware and software with a base year and four option years beginning 1 October 2001. The contract provides for the addition and/or deletion of Concurrent hardware and software to allow for requirement changes in the AEGIS Program baselines which the Concurrent hardware and software supports. NSWCDD awarded the contract on a sole source basis to Concurrent Computer Corporation, 2881 Gateway Drive, Pompano Beach, FL 33069. Previous procurements and historical information demonstrate that Concurrent Computer Corporation is the only known firm with the capability to maintain the hardware and software. There is currently the need to modify the existing contract to provide for hardware and software additions whi ch exceed the limitation of the contract. Interested parties other than Concurrent must demonstrate, in writing, their capability to provide the required support. The current list of hardware and software is primarily Powerstack II Dual workstations and Powermaxion VME based Symmetric Multi-processor (SMP) servers and associated software. The operating system is Powermax. The North American Industry Classification System code is 811212, $18 million.
