Description
NAVSEA Indian Head Division has a requirement for the manufacture of 9 each MK 437 Gun Mount Control Panels (GMCP). Each GMCP will be made up of various machined metal parts, and various metal parts to be manufactured, then welded by the contractor. There will be two separate RFQ?s issued, one for the machined parts, and one for the welded parts. Within the RFQ for the machined parts, awards will be made at the CLIN level, based on price, and ability to deliver within required time (multiple awards are anticipated). Detailed drawings will be provided with the RFQ?s. Due to the requirement that only one solicitation number can be entered into each synopsis, There will be two separate postings in NECO/Fedbizops, each with a solicitation (RFQ) number for either the machined parts, or the weldment parts. THIS SYNOPSIS WILL BE FOR THE MACHINE PARTS ONLY. PLEASE LOOK FOR THE OTHER SYNOPSIS IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BIDDING ON THE WELDMENT PARTS. This requirement is set aside for Small Business. The small business size standard for this procurement is 500 employees with a NAICS code of 332322. The FSC code is 5340. If you wish to receive notification of the RFQS? posting, you must e-mail the following information directly to Amanda Bray at brayal@ih.navy.mil. Type Request for Quotation in the subject line, and include name of POC, organization name, address, telephone, and fax number, and your e-mail address in the body of your e-mail. Use your e-mail read notification to confirm the Acquisition Assistant?s receipt of your request. The government is not responsible for any undelivered e-mail transmissions. It is the requestor?s responsibility to periodically check the IHDIV Contracts Division website for current status of RFQ?s and amendments. Once the RFQ has been issued on the internet, the Acquisition Assistant will send an e-mail message to the requestors, informing them that the RFQ is now available for download off the internet. Copies of the issued RFQ?s can only be obtained by downloading them from the IHDIV Contracts Division website at http://www.ih.navy.mil/contract. Copies of the RFQ will not be e-mailed, faxed, mailed, or provided in person. These typed of requests WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED. NAVSEA, IHDIV shall not receive or accept any form of electronic proposals as a result of this RFQ. In responding to any RFQ, you must fill it out fully, or your proposal will not be considered. You may fax your quote to 301-744-6546, or mail it to the address provided above to my attn. at Bldg. 1558. All offerors will be ineligible for award unless they have registered in DOD?s Central Contractor Registration database (CC R). The address is http://www.ccr2000.com. All quotes are subject to FAR clause 52.215-1, Instruction to Offerors Competitive Acquisition (OCT 1997). The approximate issuance date for these RFQ?s is 29, June, 02.
