Description: Internal Revenue Service intends to procure a full scope of Local Access and Transport Area (LATA) telephone/telecommunications services for the Department of Treasury and its Bureaus within the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is TIRNO-02-R-00026. This is an unrestricted acquisition, the NAICS code is 513310; the small business size standard is 1,500 employees. The following telephone services shall consist of, but is not limited to the following: Basic Call Services, Transport Services, Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) , Frame Relay, Fiber Optic Service, Transparent LAN Services (TLS), Connectivity Features; Telecommuting Technology Solutions and Small Business Offices, E-911 Services; and other Miscellaneous Services to be specified. The contractor shall support all existing line numbers at each Government location. Offerors shall provide the required features, tools/applications and necessary personnel to fulfill all requirements identified in the solicitation and provide associated pricing. Service shall be effective from the date of contract award through 30 Sep 2003, plus two one-year options. All responsible sources may request a copy of the solicitation document in writing. Proposal(s) are due to the Contracting Officer at the address shown above by close of business 4:00 p.m., EST, 6/24/2002.
