Description

This is a presolicition notice for commercial services. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary for the modification and relocation of a 500 KVA generator located in Building 5595 on Lackland AFB Texas in accordance with Statement of Work. Contractor shall change the voltage output from 208V to 480V. Contractor shall reconnect generator leads for the voltage change, furnish and install an automatic transfer switch, set and connect silencer, replace existing breaker with a new breaker, furnish and install a new control panel, furnish and install a new AGFS 500 gallon fuel tank, and furnish and install a weather proof enclosure (NEMA 3R) After voltage changes are performed, the contractor shall relocate generator from Bldg 5595 to Bldg 6418. Contract shall also provide a start-up test in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Contractor shall ensure work is performed by trained, certified personnel. Contractor shall perform work during normal business hours, from 08:00 a.m. to 04:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The solicitation must be downloaded from www.eps.gov., as no paper copies will be issued. This solicitation will be available on or about 26 April 2002 using the commercial format (FAR 12). A firm fixed price contract is contemplated with an award date of on or about 27 May 2002. This acquisition will be made under 100% total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 335312. The size standard is 1000 employees or less. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR can be obtained by accessing www.ccr2000.com or by calling 1-888-227-2423.
