- Description
- This amendment is issued to provide additional information in response to questions submitted and to re-establish closing date for quote responses to 24 June 2002. The following information is provided in answer to various questions received concerning the requirement under this quotation: Kilowatt Load Max - 96 KW/480V/3 phase Shop plastisols many different size items which is why we have required a minimum 30" x 30" opening. There are corrosive issues during curing; this is the reason stainless steel construction and stainless steel hardware is required. The curing temperature is 500 degrees for this process. Question: Do we require a particular wattage in each zone. Answer: No, the operating temperature will be zero to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. There is no "Not to Exceed" temperature. Question: Can we use a solid conveyor belt vs wire mesh? Answer, we requested a wire mesh belt because when we burn off old plastisol it will fall ghrough the belt instead of building up on the belt which would result in high maintenenace and frequent replacement of the belt. One day on site also includes installation.
