Description

NA The Government proposes to modify contract DSWA01-98-C-0110 with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) on a sole source basis to extend the period of performance to 30 April 2003. This contract modification is for continuation of ongoing i ntegration as well as enhancements, while maintaining development progress that must be responsive to customers such as STRATCOM, JTF-CS and the Smart Building Program associated with the operations supporting ENDURING FREEDOM. The work to be performed un der this contract modification will investigate new technologies and techniques to further simplify the transport and dispersion utilities, in a more timely manner and be able to view data specifically in support of the unique requirements for STRATCOM. D TRA has determined that only Scientific Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has the prerequisite knowledge and experience in order to meet the requirements associated with Hazard Prediction and Assessment Capability (HPAC) Integration software de velopment in a timely, cost-effective manner. It is anticipated that follow-on work will be competed under the DTRA Technology Development Integrating contract. Additional information can be found at www.tdic.mil.
