Description

THIS IS A DUPLICATE OF A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE POSTED ON MAY 23, 2002. THIS IS NOT A NEW SOLICITATION. The Colville National Forest requires Tree Thinning services on approximately 523 acres on the Republic Ranger District. Location of the work is in Ferry County Washington, located in the NE portion of Washington State. This project requires the furnishing of all tools, equipment, materials, supplies (except those designated as Government-Furnished), labor, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance, transportation, and incidentals to perform all work necessary to accomplish the tree thining and some piling and slashing. The resultant contract will have approximately 523 acres within 22 units (one unit is __ mile walk-in). Out of the 523 acres, approximately 309 acres will be for silvicultural purposes, 214 acres for reduce fuels in the rural interface, ad 35 acres for piling and slash. The piling and slash units will be optional items. Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act registration and a Washington State Farm/Forest Labor License are required. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or above June 13, 2002. Estimated start work date is on or about July 15, 2002, with work being completed within 75 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Quotes are estimated to be due July 5, 2002. The proposed project listed here is a 100 percent small business set-aside. NAICS code is 115310, size standard $6.0 million. All responsible soureces may submit a quote which will be considered.
