- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Willis Knob Horse Trail Maintenance. Project consists of trail maintenance in the Willis Knob Horse trail system on the Tallulah Ranger District. The entire trail system is 15.9 miles long and includes approximately 307 drainage dips. The work will consist of blading existing trails, reconstructing existing drainage dips, closing outlaw trails using earth berms and other methods, and seeding and mulching disturbed areas outside of the travelway. PROJECT LOCATION: Tallulah Ranger District, Rabun County, GA. From Clayton take Warwoman Road approximately 12 miles and turn right onto Willis Knob Road. Go approximately one/fourth mile to the parking area on the left. Trail takes off from this parking area. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND DRAWINGS: are available from the issuing office.
