- Description
- The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for two (2) consolidated tool kits. Award will be made based on best value to the Government. The Government reserves the right to award to other than the lowest proposal price. In general the acquisition consists of the construction of two (2) mobile toolboxes, complete with laser-etched tools in silhouetted foam. The above general description does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment complete in accordance with the specifications. These items are to be delivered FOB Destination to Eglin AFB, Florida. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332212, with a small business standard size of 500 employees. The Proposal due date of 5 AUGUST 2002 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued but the Request for Proposal will be available on the Federal Government?s Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov) approximately 3 July 2002.
