- The Air Force is requesting quotations for the repair of the Conference Room, Bldg 1102C, Hanscom AFB,MA. The scope of this project consists of furnishing all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation and performance of all operations required to meet the requirements of a firm fixed price contract at Hanscom AFB, MA, in accordance with contract drawings and statement of work. The principal items of work include, but are not limited to, removal and disposal of existing ceiling system and lighting. The contractor will also perform new construction tasks to include: relocation of an existing electric projection screen, and the installation of furring, insulation, gypsum board, new suspended ceiling system, lighting and finishes to include painting, chairrail, and base and miscellaneous HVAC and electrical work at Room 223, at Bldg 1102C, Hanscom AFB,MA. The period of performance is 30 workdays. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $35,000. The Request for Quotation, specifications, and drawings for this project will ONLY be avaliable at Internet address: http://wwwherbb.hanscom.af.mil These items will not be mailed, and telephone requests will not be honered. All interesred parties MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database in order to receive an award. If you submit a quote without being registered, it will be deemed unacceptable and not eligible for award. Applications for CCR registration may be obtained at Internet address: http://www.ccr2000.com/. Quotations sent via mail, hand carried, Federal express, etc. shall be mailed to ESC/PKOC(Operational Contracting), Attn: Roger Nowicki, 20 Schilling Circle, Bldg 1305, 3rd floor, Hanscom AFB, MA 01731-2800. Tentatively, the RFQ will be released on or about 03 July 02. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after receipt of quotations, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government. Offerors are advised that the Government will not pay for the offerors quotation costs. This solicitation is subject to the availability of funds.
