Description
The work shall consist of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials and supervision to complete construction work under PQWY 93-1011, Repair Feeder A Street to Infield, at McChord AFB Washington. Work includes but is not limited to removing and replacing existing power pole, remove and replace existing 15 kV underground feeder, install new pad mounted switches near existing manholes and install feeders to building served by switches. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $500,000. The current applicable NAICS is 235310. The small business size standard for the NAICS is average annual gross revenue of $12,000,000 over three years. In conformance with FAR 19.1300 this acquisition is being considered for a HUBZone set-aside. If your firm is HUBZone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition please provide the following information to the Contracting Officer not later than ten (10) days after the publication of this notice: (1) SBA certification of HUBZone eligibility, (2) capability statement of your firm, and (3) a positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this acquisition. Based on responses received to this notice, the Contracting Officer will make a determination if there is not a reasonable expectation of adequate competition from HUBZone certified firms, the acquisition will be conducted using full and open competition. The period of performance is 120 calendar days. The solicitation will only be available via www.eps.gov. Issuance of the solicitation will be on or about 9 July 2002. Any and all amendments to the solicitation will be posted only to the Electronic Posting System at www.eps.gov.
