Description

NA Defense Contracting Command - Washington intends to issue a order against GSA# GS-35F-6014H to Gartner Group Inc. , 3190 Fairfax Park Drive, Ste 100, Falls Church, VA 22042 for follow-on Enterprise-wide information technology subscription/publications ad visory, assistance and assessment services. The Contractor shall provide (1)strategic advice - How to best apply business technology for the greatest impact (2) Market Intelligence: Understand the significance of industry trends and metrics (3) Product K nowledge: compare specific attributes of products and services (4) Inquiry: direct contact with business technology analysts for individualized advice and counsel (5) Community Interaction: face-to-face meetings with peers, analysts, and industry experts through attendance at Gartner events, theme conferences and audio conferences. Also to support both IT and non-IT decision makers in creating and evaluating policies and strategies, planning and implementing IT system architecture plans, to include hardwa re and software options that take advantage of new and emerging technologies in the IT marketplace. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within ten days after date of publication of this synoposis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice will be posted 10 days.
