- NA This announcement constitutes the intent of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District. to issue a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-07. This solicitation will be issued as a Request For Quotation s (RFQ), Solicitation No. DACW61-02-T-0095. Solicitation documents will be furnished only on the website; hard copies will not be available. Offerors may view and/or download the solicitation and any possible amendments from the Internet at the following address: at https://ebs.na p.usace.army.mil, on or after the issue date of the solicitation; however the official media of distribution for this solicitation is the website. NO WRITTEN OR FAX REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. If any information changes during the advertisement period, con tractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failure to make changes in their user profile may cause a delay in receiving notice of the solicitation or any amendments. The solicitation will be furnished on the web on or about June 20, 2002. Prospective contractors are responsible for printing and forwarding printed, paper copies of the solicitation of their proposals. The closing date for receipt of offers is July 9, 2002 at 1000 hours EST. SCHEDULE: The prospective c ontractor will be required to provide and deliver a Jered Model X-2587 accommodation ladder winch, or equal, with a 460 V/3Phase/60Hz weatherproof electric motor, space heaters and brake; drum capacity of 80 ft. of 0.625? wire rope, line speed rating of 52 FPM on 3rd layer of rope, and line pull of 2500 Lbs. DELIVERY: CLIN NO. 0001 - The desired delivery for this requirement is within five weeks from the date of an award. The required delivery is nine weeks from the date of an award. The contractor shal l include the shipping costs in each of the respective line items. Final delivery will be to the Fort Mifflin Distribution Center, U. S. Army Reservation, 6400 Hog Island Road, Paschall Post Office Station, Philadelphia, PA 19153. The Government?s point of contact for delivery is Mr. Rich Burns, (215) 365-1892. EVALUATION FACTORS: This is a best value procurement. The Government intends to award a firm fixed priced commercial order to a prospective contractor based on the contractor?s ability to furnis h the technical item as required; delivery will be a factor; and price. Offerors shall provide written or published information stating the technical capabilities of their product. Award will be made to one bidder. Contractor must be CCR registered to be eligible for award. Prospective contractors can call the telephone number 1-888-227-2423 or access the internet site at http://ccr.edi.disa.mil for information on how to get registered. This procurement is unrestricted. The North American Industry Class ification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 332312 with a small business classification of 500 employees.
