- NA The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, equipment, tools and insurance to repair, replace and maintain roofing systems for various buildings at Fort Buchanan, PR in accordance with all terms and conditions specified in the solicitation and specifications. This acquisition offered for competition limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) applicable to this acquisition is 23561. The magnitude of the requirement is more than $10,000,000.00, base and option periods. There will be a one time site visit on July 9, 2002. Site visits shall be coordinated by calling Maria Otero at 787-707-3973. Only the bidders that have made prior coordination will be allowed on the site visit. The solicitation w ill be issued on or about July 17, 2002. The estimated closing date is August 1, 2002. All interested 8(a) firms are encouraged to request a copy of the solicitation as expeditiously as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further notice. The solicitation will not be mailed out. All interested eligible 8(a) sources may go to http://www.buchanan.army.mil/doc to obtain an electronic copy of the solicitation. Requestors are responsible to ensure their bid package is received by the exact time and date at the specified location for receipt of bids. Telephone requests will not be honored.
