- The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the replacement of a flap gate at Lake Mattamuskeet, Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge, Swan Quarter, NC. Work included under this invitation consists of supplying all materials, tools, supplies, labor, transportation and equipment necessary to dewater and replace the wooden sills on all bays and install aluminum flap gates. This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 234990. The size standard is $27.5 million. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 07/15/02, with a 30 day closing.
