- Description
- On October 1, 2001 the Artesia Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) awarded a twelve month purchase order valued at $12,000 to "The Water Shoppe" under purchase order FTPO-02-00314. This vendor is located in Artesia, New Mexico. The Government has increased the value of the purchase order to $24,000 based upon the increased student load from the Transportation Security Admininstration. The Government intends to increase the contract value an additional $3,000 to cover costs through the remainder of the fiscal year. If another vendor believes that it can supply bottled water at a competitive rate, please provide a quote by July 3, 2002. All written quotes will be compared to the current rates on the current contract. An award to a second company will be made if a second company shows that it can meet our additional requirements at the lowest price.
