Description: CONTACT KRISTINE LEEP OR MICHAEL KREILING FOR TECHNICAL QUESTIONS. 530-573-2783 OR 530-573-2622. This solicitation is for the removal of the Marlette dam. The government estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. There is a MANDATORY pre-proposal meeting at the project site. This meeting will be on 7/16/02 at 10 am. The project site is reached by taking Hwy 50 west towards South Lake Tahoe. Take Highway 28 North. Turn right into USFS Chimney Beach parking area. Walk past gate for 400 meters on Road 15N09A. Cross South Fork Marlette Creek and continue East. The dam is located toward the right off the first spur road. The solicitation package is expected to be ready by 7/3/02.
