Description

McConnell AFB, KS has a need for a contractor to provide all management, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and materials necessary to remove and replace existing Built Up Roof with hybrid 3 ply asphalt BUR and EPDM roof on Bldg 1218. The dollar value of the contract is expected to be between $100,000 & $250,000. The required work includes but is not limited to demolishing gutters, downspouts, pipe vents, fan units, curbing, flood light/wire/conduit, brick flues, concrete crickets, window and associated wall below it, raising 120 V electrical and ground line and conduit, installing a new door, installing steel or wood framing & deck to cover up abandoned openings, installing concrete flumes, extending and connecting to existing storm drainage pipe and replacing scuppers, gutter and downspouts. The contract?s performance period shall be for a period not to exceed 90 days. This solicitation is being made as a full and open competition. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 23561 and the primary Standard Industrial Classification code is 1761. The solicitation package will be available on or around 28 June 2002 via the Federal Biz Ops electronic posting site at www.eps.gov . This project will require work to be performed in a restricted area. A site visit is planned for Monday, 15 July 2002. More information on the site visit will be forthcoming via notices on the Electronic Posting System.
