Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) Only One Source Reasonably Available with NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS, 6504 Bridge Point Parkway, Austin, TX 78730-5039 for the purchase of the LabVIEW Multiple Seat License Software Subscription Program. LabVIEW software is a proprietary software programming system developed and solely distributed by National Instruments, Inc. NIST researchers utilize it as an aid in data acquisition and control, data analysis and data presentation. The Multiple Seat License Software Subscription Program supports and upgrades existing and future copies of LabVIEW. The requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001, Quantity of 1, PN 930000-02, LabVIEW Software Subscription Program for Win, Mac, or Linux Automatic, Upgrades to 1 LabVIEW for Win/Mac/Linux copy; Priority Support; NI eSupport News; Training 1 user/1 copy LabVIEW Windows fds licenses; CLIN 0002, Quantity 123, PN 930000-00, SSP for multiple users, renewal for Lab view FDS Windows; CLIN 0003, Quantity of 1, PN 930000-02, LabVIEW Software Subscription Program for Win, Mac, or Linux Automatic, Free Upgrades to LabVIEW for Win/Mac/Linux copy; Priority Support; NI eSupport News; Training - 1 user/1 copy LabVIEW FDS Mac; CLIN 0004, Quantity of 15, PN 930000-00, SSP for multiple users, renewal for LabVIEW FDS for Mac; CLIN 0005, Quantity of 1, PN 930800-01, NI Measurement Studio SSP Renewal total for 1 Labwindows CVI/Measurement; CLIN 0006, Quantity of 1, PN 93000-00, SSP for multiple users, Renewal total for Measurement Studio FDS Windows. The NAIC for this acquisition is 421439 and the size standard is 100 employees or 500 employees for Government Contracting. Interested parties submit, in writing, their interest and provide sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirement. The Government will consider such responses received by the closing date, however, respondents should be aware that this is a notice of intent to Sole Source and is not a request for competition. A Request for Quotation is not available.
