- Description
- Sole-source procurement that is a follow on to research study on "Odor Receptors and Olfaction in Sea Turtles" currently being performed by the University of South Carolina. Study shall include Odor Receptor identification and characterization from Loggerhead, Green, and Leatherback sea turtles. Information obtained will be used to estimate the importance olfaction plays in the lives of sea turtles and help identify repellant odors suitable to discourage sea turtles from fishing equipment, such as longline gear.
