- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ has a requirement for the following items: Four (4) each, Composi-Lok II Installation Sets, P/N IK4000, NIIN 013814358 and three (3) Composite Fastener Removal Sets, P/N RK3160, NIIN013038388. These items are required in support of the V22 Tiltrotor Aircraft to satisfy the accessibility conditions required for the use of blind fasteners in certain areas and consist of a sleeve, a sleeve insert, a nut, a hex nut drive and a screw. The fastener removal sets are required to provide a precision method of removing Composi-Lok fasteners and to prevent elongation/deformation of the fastener hole and/or damage to the surrounding composite materials. Substitutes will not be acceptable. This RFQ is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. A Request For Quote (RFQ) will be emailed or faxed upon request. However, all requests must be received within 15 days. Responses should reference N68335-02-Q-BCD3. The RFQ will be issued on or about 8 July 2002 and will not appear on the NAVAIR homepage. Any contractor seeking award of a Government contract must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contracts cannot be awarded to contractors unless they are registered.
