Description
This modification is issued to provide additional information in response to questions submitted. Questions and answers shown below. QUOTE CLOSING REMAINS 24 JUNE 2002, LOCAL TIME 3:50 PM. NO FURTHER EXTENSIONS. NO FURTHER QUESTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. 1. CURE PLASTISOL ON WHAT PART? WHAT DOES THE PART LOOK LIKE? WHAT ARE THE PART DIMENSIONS? ANSWER: we plastisol a multitude of parts and pieces which are various shapes and sizes which is why a specific opening of 30" x 30" is required which accomodates the majority of parts required to be plastisoled. 2. DO WE REQUIRE A SSTEM RUN--OFF PRIOR TO SHIPPING: ANSWER: no 3. WHAT TYPE OF WIRE MESH FOR THE CONVEYOR BELT? FLAT WIRE OR FLAT FLEX? WHAT MESH SIZE OPENING? ANSWER: .090 stainless steel flat wire mesh belt. 1" x 1" will be accpetable. 4. WHAT TYPE OF SPEED CONTROL, AC OR DC? ANSWER: variable speed at a rate of 0 to 24 feet per minute. AC or DC is acceptable as long as they above requirements are met. 5. WHAT ARE THE PRODUCT CENTERS ON THE CONVEYOR? ANSWER: weight of the product to be plastisoled will be distributed over 1 linear foot of conveyor. 50 lbs per linear foot. 6. WHAT IS THE WIDTH OF THE CONVEYOR BELT? ANSWER: 24" wide. 7. WHAT TYPE OF TAKE UP? MANUAL OR PNEUMATIC? ANSWER: either is acceptable. 8. WHAT DOES THE OVEN LOOK LIKE? IS IT TOP HEAT ONLY? TOP AND SIDE HEAT? OR IS IT TOP, SIDE AND BOTTOM HEAT? ANSWER: top and side heat zones. 9. WHY DO YOU REQUIRE BI-FOLD GLASS DOORS? ANSWER; to maintain heat in the oven while viewing the plastisoled item as it cures. 10. WHERE ARE THE HEAT ZONES TO BE LOCATED? IS IT FOUR IN LENGTH? TWO IN LENGTH AND TWO IN WIDTH? TOP HEAT, SIDE HEAT, AND BOTTOM HEAT? HOW ARE THE ZONES CONTROLS? SCR WITH MANUAL POTIENTMETERS? ANSWER: 4 heat zones in length, top only/sides only or all. heat zones controlled by a 3 position selector switch. 11. WHAT IS THE SELECTOR SWITCH DOING? ANSWER: controlling the to and side heat zones. 12. WHAT AIR SUPPLY? ANSWER: an air supply blower is provided with a common mainfold pipe conneced to each of the heater banks to cool the terminal ends. 13. WHEN THEY SAY CONTROL PANEL TO BE MOUNTED TO SYSTEM. DO THEY WANT THE CONTROL PANEL MOUNTED AND WIRED TO THE SIDE OF THE OVEN? ANSWER: control panel to be mounted to oven endlosure so as not to interfere with any removable panels and in a manner which will prevent overheating of panels electrical components. 14. IS THE KW SPREAD EVENLY THROUGHOUT THE OVEN? ANSWER: spread evenly throughout the oven. 15. WILL THE EQUIPMENT BE UNLOADED AND SET IN THE VICINITY OF INSTALLATION? ANSWER: yes, the equipment will be off loaded at Bldg. 369. 16. IF NOT, WILL A FORK LIFT BE AVAILABLE ON SITE? ANSWER: N/A 17. WILL WE BE CONNECTION THE UTILITIES? ANSWER: no NNSY will do that. 18. HOW FAR AWAY IS THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION? ANSWER: N/A 19. WILL THE VENTING BE DONE BY CONTRACTOR, AND IF SO, WHAT IS THE CEILING HEIGHT? ANSWER: no venting will be taken care of by NNSY. NO MORE QUESTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AND NO MORE EXTENSIONS ON QUOTE RESPONSE.
