- Description
- The VA Central Iowa Health Care System, Des Moines Division, intends to purchase a Model CE-2000 ophthalmic cryosurgery system control console with foot pedal, and the following accessories; 507-1A mobile equipment carrier, 126 cataract straight 1.0 tip x 1.8mm tip diameter, 127 cataract curved 1.0 tip x 1.8mm tip diameter, 162 supercool straight retinal 2.5mm x 2.5mm diameter, 164 supercool straight glaucoma 3.5mm x 3.5mm diameter and 171 trichasis 18 gauge cone probe 19mm shaft x 1.3mm, from Cooper Surgical Inc., 95 Corporate Dr., Trumbull, CT. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by responding in writing to this office no later than July 15, 2002. No telephone requests accepted. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
