- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, this synopsis shall serve as a request for quote (RFQ) numbered F1AFIW21291100. The Air Intelligence Agency (AIA) wishes to acquire the items indicated herein on an ALL OR NONE basis. NO SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED. BRAND NAME REQUIRED. Information on the items is available from LANCOPE at 3155 Royal Drive, Bldg 100, Alpharetta, GA 30022 (http://www.lancope.com). All items are to be delivered and installed at AFIWC/IOT, 402 Greig, Bldg 178, San Antonio TX 78226-1844. Delivery is required no later than 31 Jul 02. Offerors are required to provide the unit and extended prices for the following items. CLIN 0001 ? 1ea - StealthWatch G1 Intrusion Detection Appliance. Allows for the detection/recognition of undocumented attacks, encrypted attacks, mutated signatures, internal hacking attempts, DoS attacks, and Trojan Horses. Builds a complete picture of the reconnaissance activity on the network. Response methods to combat attacks include email, pager and SNMP alerts. Monitors services that are run on a daily basis within the network and notifies whenever an out-of-profile service is run. Provides detection, notification, trace-back, and forensics. Maintains a detailed information trail log for 30 days which can be archived. Able to be connected to system at outside firewalls, inside firewalls, at sensitive segments of the network and/or at each remote station. CLIN 0002 ? 1 year maintenance. This requirement is NOT set-aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334119, 1000 employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2001-07 (effective 30 Apr 2002). The following provisions/clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability to meet the Government's requirement, price, and delivery date. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with their offer.
