- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division intends to procure Repair of Repairable (ROR) services and Calibration services for 2 each of the following: (A) Force Calibration Kit (87500578-101) which consists of Force Calibration Assembly(87500442-102), Signal Conditioner(84001157-002), and Cable Assembly(84001157-003); (B) Linear Potentiometer Calibration Fixture(87500522) which consists of Cylinder/Potentiometer Calibration Assembly(87500937-101); Dial Indicator(84001740-001), Bleed Adapter Hose Assembly(87500938-101), Linear Potentiometer Ext. Cable(88002308-101), and LVDT Ext. Cable(88002733-101); (C) Leading Edge flap(LEF) Torque Cal Fixture(87500223) which consists of Torque Fixture(87500396-101, Torque Digital Meter(84001060-002), and Interconnect Cable(84001060-003; (D) Nose Wheel Steering(NWS) Calibration Fixture Kit (87500222) which consists of Calibration Assembly(87500378-101, Cable(84001056-003, Signal Conditioner, Strain(84001056-002, and Signal Conditioner, Rotary and Cable(84001170-001. All units will be repaired to manufacturer specification and calibrated traceable to NIST. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with HR Textron Inc, 25200 West Rye Canyon Road, Valencia, CA 91355-1265. Under the Authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only supplier of the repair/calibration services because they are the sole designer and manufacturer of the above items, already purchased by the Government. All repairs will be done using original manufactured replacement parts. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the proposals. However, all responses received within thirty days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
