Description
The Program Manager, Engineer Systems (ES), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is continuing extensive market research of qualified sources capable of providing a commercial off-the-shelf family of commercial Environmental Control Units (ECUs) with heating and cooling capabilities to replace the Marine Corps current inventory of military specification ECUs. There is also a requirement to provide contractor logistics support with global capability. The research indicates that GSAs Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) appears to be the best contracting method to fulfill these requirements. Firms possessing these capabilities are invited to submit their qualifications, including the following: Statement of capabilities to accomplish the proposed effort; current GSA contract information and pricing schedule; and past performance with commercial environmental control units similar to those stated in the draft documents posted on the MARCORSYSCOM business opportunities home page. Interested firms are requested to respond NLT August 9, 2002, identifying their business size and a corporate point of contact. Draft documents are currently posted to the MARCORSYSCOM business opportunities home page http://www.marcorsyscom.usmc.mil/mcscctq/ecu.htm. The Statement of Work (SOW) and performance specification (SPEC) will provide greater definition of the requirements. Responses should be sent to: Commander, ATTN: CTQ3GT, MARCORSYSCOM, 2033 Barnett Avenue, Suite 315, Quantico VA 22134-5010. FEDEX or UPS deliveries should be sent to Commander, ATTN: CTQ3GT, MARCORSYSCOM, 3041A McCawley Ave, Quantico, VA 22134-5010. Any questions regarding the submission of materials should be addressed to Ms.Gabrielle Trickett, (703) 784-5822 x241. THE SUBMISSIONOF THIS INFORMATION IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PROCURE ANY ITEMS/SERVICES, NOR FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR THE INFORMATION RECEIVED.
